Lauren and Andrew are too much fun! You first met these two when I shot their engagement session a few months ago. With the help of a fantastic team of vendors, these two got married exactly 2 weeks ago at the always gorgeous Paraiso Maravilla! There to help for the evening was Mandy Millen of Every Little Detail Events and brides, if you need a coordinator, she’s your gal! Not only is she so much fun to work with, but she is absolutely amazing at her job. Also there for the evening was the husband and wife team from Metro Bridal Films. These two are also so much fun to be around and I can only imagine what Lauren and Andrew’s video is going to look like!
Their wedding was a blast and Lauren and Andrew both looked fantastic, but my favorite part of this wedding was all the personal touches they added to make their day truly theirs. They had truffles from a shop in Vegas (where they were engaged), they played music that was playing the night Andrew proposed, the escort cards, the cakes, Lauren’s jewelry, right down to the bouquet she used to toss, so much of the aspects of their day were there for a reason and that made their day that much more special.
Lauren and Andrew – you guys are great
Thank you for letting me play a small part in your day as I so enjoyed it. I love how similar our stories are and I love even more that the two of you love Vegas as much as me and my husband! Enjoy your pictures and many blessings to you both in your life together!
She probably thought I was crazy by the end of the evening, but I kept telling Lauren just how much I loved her hair. It was so fantastic and suited her so perfectly!

All the guys wore Converse with their tuxes. Love it!

Heading down the stairs to meet her dad…

This is one of many photos I have of the two of them like this from the evening. I love how excited they are![]()

They have a handshake that I was informed they do every night before they go to bed. As we started our pictures, they decided to squeeze in a quick handshake and I couldn’t resist posting it![]()

Seriously, her hair? Her make up? FANTASTIC!!!

Both of them really loved the shoes they were wearing and I love that they weren’t your traditional white shoes/dress shoes![]()

Just a small sampling of some of their details. If you’re curious what they are, here’s an explanation: The guitar pick was Lauren’s gift to Andrew. The inscription reads “You and me to the end of the world” which is a line from the Dave Matthews Band song they used as their first dance song. The box with a lock is filled with a bottle of champagne, two champagne flutes, and a letter they each wrote to each other. They locked this box during the ceremony and will open it and read their letters (and have the champagne of course!) on their first anniversary. They used coaster sets as their escort cards (and favors!). The truffle and box on the bottom left is their homage to Las Vegas. Loved it all!!

Andrew was a huge fan of the TV series LOST so they decided to have a LOST themed groom’s cake. AND each of the tiers of the brides’s cake were different flavors and the most decadent cake flavors I’ve ever eaten. So so good!

Lauren told me she wanted her wedding to “look fun in pictures”. I’d say this crowd had some fun![]()
