She sent me lots of e-mails that consisted of the following: “we’re not good at taking pictures”, “we’re awkward in front of the camera” , or my favorite “we hate pictures of ourselves!”. When I get e-mails like this prior to a session, I make it my mission to get great images because, as I’ve said 100 times on this blog, I think having fantastic pictures of your life as it is now is so important. I wanted Lauren and Andrew to have pictures they could look at an be excited about and proud to show off. So, the three of us met up at the lovely Hermann Park to get some fun, fresh engagement pictures and we had a definitely had good time. These two are getting this summer at the always gorgeous Paraiso Maravilla and it promises to be a great time!

Andrew and his family are huge Giants fans so they wanted to be sure and get some shots in their Giants get up. They brought a football with them and I asked Lauren if she wanted it in a few of their pictures. She explained she only wanted it in the pictures if they were playing with it. So they played with it. This series made me giggle. Lauren, I think you rock
