To those of you faithful blog followers, you all know Diana. Her beautiful face has graced this blog 4 different times now. For those of you who’ve just recently found my blog, meet Diana (and Pete of course). Diana is my best friend of 12+ years and has, in the past year and a half, fallen madly in love with the man of her dreams and this past Saturday, she married him! The wedding was everything she’d dreamed it would be: a intimate ceremony in the church she and Pete both attend followed by a great reception full of family, friends, love and lots of dancing!
Before I get on to the pictures, I must first give a gigantic shout out of appreciation to my friend and aaaaaaamazing photographer Chip. Chip works for Studio563 here in Houston but generously helped me out on Saturday by shooting Diana’s wedding. I just so happened to be the matron of honor in this wedding so shooting it just wasn’t an option for me! So Chip, a huge thank you for capturing Diana and Pete’s day so beautifully!! You rock!
Diana and Pete – There’s nothing I can say here I haven’t already told you. It’s such a blessing to me to have you a part of my life and I’m honored to have shared this day with you! Love you both!
With no more adieu, I bring you Diana and Pete’s day through the lens of Chip!
I love Nicki’s face (on the right) here. And that’s yours truly on the left
Apparently we were very excited to be zipping the dress![]()
Knowing there wouldn’t be much daylight left after their ceremony was over, Diana and Pete opted to see each other before! I’ve said it before but it’s worth saying again, if you’re a bride and you’re getting married between late October and early March, a First Look is definitely something worth considering! The sun sets so early during this time of year that it leaves little to no daylight after a ceremony for pictures!
Isn’t she gorgeous?! She made such a stunning bride!
This is Colin, Pete’s son and Diana’s step son, and he is adorable![]()
Diana and Pete chose to give Colin a ring of his own during their ceremony. Here he is showing it off to the crowd![]()
And just because I can, I give you this image of the girls gettin’ down. That’s me right there in the middle bustin’ some major moves. I’m fairly certain this is just before I break out in the running man. I’m so cool it hurts![]()
