- Avery and Matt – The Wedding -

I could shoot these two every day. Not only because they are great to shoot, but because I just enjoy being around both Avery and Matt. They are both so laid back, so much fun to be around and so incredibly into each other. You first met Avery and Matt when I shot their engagement session a few months ago. Even then I knew their wedding was going to be something special but it was so much more. After a gorgeous ceremony in Tomball, we all headed over to Houston Oaks Country Club for a rockin’ reception. As you will see, Matt and Avery really were able to cut loose and enjoy the first day of their life together.

Avery and Matt – I truly adore you both. Thank you for letting me be a small part of the beginning of a beautiful life together. As much fun as your wedding was, I’m sad it has past because I just enjoyed getting to not only photograph the two of you, but hang out with you too. I guess this just means I’ll need to drop by your shop to get lots and lots of chocolate very soon. My best to you both:)

I’m a sucker for non-traditional wedding shoes. These pretty much rocked:)

As a wedding gift, Avery gave Matt this pocket watch engraved with his initials so he wanted to be sure and get it in some pictures

One of my favorite moments at a wedding is when the bride and groom come back up the isle after having just been announced Mr. and Mrs….especially when the bride and groom look as happy as these two:)

Avery is so close to opening The Chocolate Lounge in the Old Town Spring area. This whole table was designed by her and featured chocolates from her shop. I may have had a piece or two….ok, it was more like ten but it was SO good! For any future brides checking out this post, she does chocolate buffets like this one for weddings, yum!

As a nod to Matt’s job at Cat, they used this little gem as their cake topper!

Just to show a sampling of the fun these two were having on the dance floor, here’s what I’d like the call their “gettin’ down collage”;)

Kathy Perry - Please tell this bride that her bridesmaids’ dresses were such a beautiful color of blue. What a lovely couple. Those pictures under that huge tree, Lindsay, are beautifully done. And I loved the cake topper!

Matt - Lindsay…I’m not sure that any day has every been such a haze of fun in my entire life! On our honeymoon we sat down and tried to remember everything that happened, but we were sure that we missed some things; which is why we are so glad that you were a part of our wedding. We are so grateful to have such awesome wedding pics and you can bet I won’t lose your number for all of our future family pictures. You were great and we really appreciate your skill and attitude.

thanks again! we can’t wait to see the album!
