It all started with some mail and a night in Target. Samantha was out shopping with a friend when said friend told Samantha she needed to meet up with her fiancee’s best friend to get some mail he’d left at his place. They decided to meet in Target so Samantha and her friend waited for Clint to arrive to drop off the mail. They all then spent the next few hours standing in Target talking about everything from football to Louisiana. What started out as a stop to drop off some mail turned into an entire summer of spending time with one another, getting to know one another, and eventually, falling in love with one another.
Three years later, Clint and Samantha returned to the city they love, the city they both used to call home, the city in which they lived just a few miles apart for several years and never met one another, the city that’s home to their beloved LSU Tigers, and vowed to love each other truly, wholly, and unconditionally.
Samantha and Clint- I adore you both. Thank you for inviting me to New Orleans for the first time, for having wonderful families and an amazing bridal party, and for being so unbelievably fabulous your entire wedding day! Being around you, it is so apparent how much love you have for one another. I wish you nothing but wonderful blessings and lots of laughter (which, with Clint, we know you’ll never have trouble finding the laughter) in what I know will be a long life together.

Clint and Samantha decided to see each other before the ceremony knowing it would be dark during and after the ceremony. I can’t express to all of my brides out there how much I love a First Look. You get all the nerves and jitters of seeing your spouse-to-be out of the way and before the ceremony starts. Plus, you get lots of uninterrupted time for lots and lots of fabulous pictures of the two of you together with out feeling like you’re being rushed off to the reception. Samantha, Clint, and I spent an hour and a half in the French Quarter of New Orleans getting pictures of the two of them together as well as with their bridal party. It was awesome!

We stepped out on the balcony of the hotel in which they got ready just in time for Clint to see his dad walking by on the street!

Samantha asked me for one specific photograph: a shot of them and the bridal party walking down the middle of Canal street. I was happy to oblige![]()

The ladies wore hot pink shoes and carried hot pink flowers. Not to be outdone, the gentlemen all wore hot pink socks!

Who else could stop traffic in the middle of Bourbon St on a Saturday night?!

If you haven’t noticed yet, these two are reeeeally excited to be getting married![]()

On our way back to the hotel, they got some hoots and hollers from some bystanders…so they showed a little more excitement![]()

The rest of the evening was spent at the lovely Southern Oaks Plantation

Seriously. They’re really excited![]()
